Ministries at Second United

Children are a vital part of our congregation and are invited to participate at all levels. We love when children participate in worship and the life of the church. Want to know how your child can be involved? Learn more below!

Children's Message

During worship each week, the children are invited to the front for a moment during worship and then are dismissed to Children’s Church. Children are always welcome to stay for the full worship service. Some parents find it easy to walk or sit with young children in the narthex, where they can still see and hear the service.

Nursery

Our nursery provides a safe, nurturing, and positive environment for children from birth to age three. Each Sunday, the nursery is staffed by caring adults. Our nursery allows parents a reprieve and an opportunity to focus on Sunday’s sermon, while knowing that their infant or toddler receives the best of care from someone they trust.
